About Lloyd Dobson

Lloyd Dobson

Born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Independence, Missouri. Lloyd studied art in high school and college where he won numerous art awards and ribbons. In Missouri he studied under his artist mentor Andrew Thoman. He migrated to southern California. During the early period he continued his passion for oi; painting and studied under California artist Bert Carter. Lloyd entered many art shows where he continued to win ribbons for his work, as well as selling his oil paintings to hundreds of clients throughout California, Arizona, Colorado and the Mid-West. His work is enjoyed in private collections with some of the more notable collectors are Art Linkletter, Debbie Reynolds and Debbie Reynold's mother. He later partnered with...
